The grabs are devastating, the Chi attacks look cool, and the strategy involved is compelling. Definitely worth your $50.
  2. The bottom line on this game is not simple. The game takes risks and tries things never before done in any fighting game.
  3. A graphically slick martial arts game that’s head-and-bloody-shoulders above the competition for the visible damage you can inflict on opponents.
  4. The best fighting game currently out for the Xbox.

I've played about 250 xbox games, and would rate this as the worst out of all 250.

Maybe I'm reading these reviews a bit late, but to me, this game even lacks the beautiful visuals and awesome sounds as so many have claimed for this title. The game play is light years beyond frusturating, only to be better described as noobful. Figthing games always have a hard time with re-playablility, and this game is a true testiment to this fact. After a few quick rounds with each character just to see what they look like and what their chi attacks are, I hardly totaled up about 3 hours towards game play for this title. As far as I'm concerned, you can only knock somebody out over and over again so many times. So I guess without a fatality type of move as seen in the Mortal Kombat series, the fights get extremely repetitive and are not worth the effort of sitting on your couch and staring at the disproportionate characters in the game over. Like mentioned earlier, nice try Tobias, it's better than what what my two pre-teen neices and I could throw together, but doesn't even begin to compare to Mortal Kombat. Full Review »
