  1. The three main characters are very detailed and authentic to their film counterparts. Wolverine is bigger than the others; Ice Man retains that young look, while Nightcrawler looks as weird as usual. The animation is solid, as well.
  2. Some of his levels are filled with ridiculous amounts of enemies, and even though the levels appear to have multiple stages or sections, there isn't a checkpoint in sight. I love a challenge, but I hate mindless repetition.
  3. Definitely a fun game. It is short, as all franchise games tend to be, and it does suffer from substantially frustrating issues, but that doesn't kill the experience.
  4. The cut-scenes, however, deserve special mention. They are performed not with CGI movies or even with the in-game engine, but with absurdly primitive flash movies that use cardboard cut-outs of the characters.

Game graphics and storyboard is acceptable. The lengh of the game is short. Overall, This game is satisfactory.
  2. X-Men: The Official Game takes place between the second and third movie, it's a pretty good game with pretty good controls, a good story, and some fun gameplay, ultimately an enjoyable game, the only bad parts are the Ice Man levels which are bad do to poor controls, all in all if you like the X-Men and the movies you'll enjoy this game. X-Men: The Official Game is crap quite simply. It was obviosly thrown togethor in a hurry in the hopes of scoring some easy money for dedicated X-Men fans like me. Well i wouldn't pay 5$ for this game. The graphics are bland and the gameplay is as generic as it gets. With wolverine it's nothing more than hack n slash the entire way through. With nightcrawler it's more of a bore the teleportation feature really isn't special and isn't much fun either. Iceman is the worst of the three, gliding around on ice and putting out fires isn't very endearing. The story is somewhat interesting but it is hard to keep playing through the mess of the game to get the juicy comic book style sequences. So X-Men fans beware! This game is barely worth a rental and you'll have to have some perserverance to get through the whole game. Good luck. Expand
