Powerful, important and refreshingly straightforward documentary.
Justman's A Trial in Prague acts as something of a corrective to the exuberant but oversimplified "Fighter."
Shows the human face of both communism and its victims, and shows how hard it is to tell the two apart.
One of the many terrible ironies laid out in vivid detail by Justman and her subjects is that many of those accused were among the Party's most ardent members: Jews who wholeheartedly embraced Communism.
