  • Starring: Anjelica Huston, Eddie Murphy, Jeff Garlin
  • Summary: Charlie (Murphy) and Phil (Garlin) are so consumed by their high profile advertising jobs that they are completely missing out on the joys of fatherhood. In the family comedy Daddy Day Care, however, their kids provide them with a crash course in child rearing, with uproarious and heartwarming results. (Sony) Expand

  1. A harmless and amusing summer comedy.
  2. An easy-on-the-sensibilities family film, Eddie Murphy practically assumes the easygoing manner of Mister Rogers, a character he used to wickedly lampoon on "Saturday Night Live."
  3. Murphy inhabited Jif like a sweet, innocent child, almost as though he were delighted to shed the cynicism and get down to the sweet, chewy center. Or day-care center, in this case.

  1. How is this movie hated so much? It was original and it was pretty funny as well. I must have watched it a dozen times. I am suprised that the ratings are so low for it. Expand
  2. There is still a faint memory of when Eddie Murphy was funny. It was the 80s and the 90s. Trading places, Beverly Hills Cop and Coming to America.
  3. This family-friendly movie has a few funny moments, but it has an awkward story and some parts are just plain gross.
  4. A fart filled farce bereft of the least amount of imagination.
