    The documentary enables its viewers to confront poverty on a human level by presenting its subjects, for the most part, like anyone else, living lives, despite their socioeconomic difference, relatable to our own.

    This review contains spoilers, click full review link to view. I caught this on tv this week and thought it was really good, on the whole. There were a couple of characters that I wanted to slap (the guy with the portable tv and tommy who needed to get some ambition). It felt a little like Extreme Makeover Subway Edition and I wonder how they are getting on paying bills in their apartments after they were torn from Thursday homes!!! Full Review »
