Al principio promete y Jack cumple su función de inquietar (bastante bien). Pero parece que no está terminada, deja dudas y un final poco intenso no sacia a los espectadores. Una pena.

Great concept and lore building, top tier creature design. Characters and performances are mostly weak. Would accept a sequel to this just for more Sawtooth Jack.

David Slade's Dark Harvest is sort of like a mix of The Hunger Games meets The Purge with a traditional Halloween style sensation to it that feels enjoyable.While Dark Harvest features some good things it also shows a significant deficiency in its world building and character development, which leaves certain aspects **** performances and the evolution of the characters, in general, feel one-dimensional, which in turn fails to deliver the sense that something truly important is at stake, especially when it comes to its outcome.Despite its shortcomings Dark Harvest offers an experience that stands as a reasonable option to enjoy during this season and while it may not offer much in the way of spookiness, let's just say it goes more from average to good instead of going from average to bad.

Well.. got tricked into that one I guess. A LOT is going on here and nothing feels fully developed. The creature design and setting is really interesting, a lot of nice Halloween shots. But I couldn't shake the feeling that this adaptation scrapped like 300 pages of the book, especially in regards to the themes of coming of age, and the satire of the American Dream. I didn't read the book, although I'm curious to check it out just to see what's missing in the film. And everyone on here who praised the gory kills: Yeah, there were like five kills that happened in the dark with a whole lot of "Vibration Cam" going on. Felt like the DP had some nerve damage in his hands or something. Really disappointed but DARK HARVEST didn't ruin Halloween for me. At least.
