Finally, a teen sex comedy that's funnier than both its trailer and its outtakes. More important, Eurotrip -- with its laser-guided sex toys and infectious theme song, "Scotty Doesn't Know" -- just might be the best comedy so far this year.
One of my all-time favorite comedies. It's the funniest road trip comedy ever made. It will make you die from laughter. Must-see for anyone who needs a great laugh.
The brain trust responsible in part for last year's "The Cat In The Hat," Eurotrip seems like the result of a particularly half-hearted brainstorming session.
Seems intentionally slapdash and stupid, but when one of them referred to Europe as a "country," I wasn't sure if it was meant as a joke or not. Even so, I laughed once or twice.
Quite possibly the single most artless gross-out comedy I have ever seen. It relentlessly slaps you with dead carp after dead carp of icky gags -- without any of the cleverness, cinematography or characterization that would give those gags even the slightest bit of juice.
I enjoyed this movie a lot more than, say, Road Trip, or American Pie. It mixes exaggerated European stereotypes with the usual raunchy jokes. Not for the easily offended.
EuroTrip is certainly an above average teen film. This movie kind of rides the coattails of American Pie and the wave of young adult films that came after it. The movie is I like the characters, despite them not really being overly original and falling into the general stereotypes. There is some good humour in the mix as well although some of it has already faded a little. Eurotrip is also clichéd which is almost expected from a teen film and you can see the ending coming from a mile away. Still overall there is a lot of fun to be had with Eurotrip and it is a great lighthearted comedy for young people.
How is this movie so well rated by users? Bad acting, cliche' story line, predictable plot and **** to mention the lack of originality. Sure the use nudity to try to divert your attention so you don't know the movie is so terrible, but even this does not work.
Honestly The 1st Time I Watched Euro Trip I Thought This Movie Is Actually Fine.. Some Really Good Parts But Some That Were **** Jokes Somewhat Wrap Up Together Throught The Film. This Is Not The Best Or Worst Movie I Have Ever Seen.. As For The Cast.... Michelle Trachtenberg Does A Fine Job...
Another movie-for-teenagers to promote fornication, carnal licence and all sorts of vices (like its predecessor). With "jokes" that do not rise above the excretion of bodily fluids/solids/gases, binge alcohol drinking, and sexual deviancy, this piece of thrash adds up to the steaming pile of movies released at the beginning of this century aimed at destroying any remnants of virtue among the younger members of society. Don't get me wrong, I saw it when I was around 25 and I laughed. But maturing and growing involves being capable of retrospectively look at oneself and the things one chose to do, read, watch, and reassess with a clear mind if those things were good. And being more than 40 years of age now, I realize how pernicious and dangerous this type of visual feces is to the minds and spiritual lives of young people. I lived to the mantras implicitly cheerished throughout this piece of crap, and there is not a single day that passes without me regretting it.
