  • Summary: A sensual thriller of suspense and deception, in which no one is who they appear, Fascination follows a young man (Garcia) as he tries to piece together the mystery surrounding the death of his father, which escalates with his mother's unexpected remarriage and the love affair which quickly ignites with his beautiful stepsister. Nearly everything about Fascination feels overdone. At its delirious worst, it's as pungent a Parisian cheese shop, offering a cornucopia of laughable scenes.
  2. The sort of soft-core, erotic thriller that would benefit from a lot more trash and a lot more sex.
  3. It plays like a soft-core-porn potboiler left over from the 1970s about a hot vampire chick.
  4. 20
The less said about the story's twists and turns the better, except to warn that they become increasing preposterous with each passing minute.
  5. 12
I'm afraid this is one of THOSE movies, one where ''plot" is another word for ''gratuitous sex scene."

Glacially paced, self-consciously acted and narratively risible.
  7. 10
Avoiding this lump of low-camp lion poo couldn't be easier, what with MGM dumping it into a lone Manhattan venue, but if you're in the mood for some unscripted belly laughs or a catnap, Fascination should do the trick.
