    It’s funny, exciting, preposterous, great to look at, and made with the same level of technical expertise we’d expect from a new Bond movie itself. And all of that is very nice, but nicer still is the perfect pitch of the casting.

    Despite a plot that should be simpler, Get Smart is as big on action as it is on laughs and works because it?s less a tired spoof and more a quality comedic adventure movie in its own right.

    Rather than the laugh a minute promised by old comedies, Get Smart generates approximately one laugh per hour, and I can't remember either one.

    I was almost rolling on the movie theater floor I was laughing so hard. This movie is hilarious. Steve Carell is amazing, Alan Arkin is great, Anne Hathaway blew me away and Dwayne Johnson pulled of a great comedic role. I can't wait to buy the DVD!… Expand

    Steve Carrell was very good as Maxwell Smart-- he reinvented the character and has an excellent deadpan delivery. It was also awesome to see Alan Arkin in this as well. It has a fairly predictable and standard plot, but I laughed a lot, and that's what I was looking for.… Expand

    "Get Smart" is a terrible spy copy-cat movie. It does nothing right with its crude jokes, dumb action, a not-funny steve carell, stone-cold Hathaway, and homosexuality (Dwayne Johnson)?… Expand
