I don't know what the rest of you are talking about. This is the worst movie I've ever seen. I wouldn't watch this movie again if you gave me a thousand dollars.

Bloody brilliant! Very entertaining, loved the werewolf at the end, makes a nice change to have a 'real' monster rather than a dodgy looking CGI graphic (american werewolf in paris anyone?)

Grreat movie! I really liked the little detail in it like the gore photos the sisters make.

It was the best movie every but the movie should have end were the guy would have been ok and ginger woldnt and both sisters would get the shot to go back to normal it would have been nice that way.

This movie was very well thought out. And althought when I got this movie I was looking for scary I liked this movie a lot any way because it doesn't need to be scary. This movie has humor, action, suspence and more. This is one of the only horror movies that has made me almost cry at the end. In all this movie is pretty good and once you see it you come back for more

What a movie, its great.

Being a fan of werewolfie genres, i enjoyed this film. I loved the way they mixed the lycanthrope with adolescence, it was a great mix. The drugs guy was **FWAR** too.

For those of you who haven't seen it, run...run right now to a video store and go grab a copy. This is the best movie i have seen this year, i absolutely loved every minute of it. Katherine Isabelle (Ginger) is so incredibly hottt, and makes the transformation to a werewolf believable. You won't be disappointed, a grade A top choice film for the truly morbid. Mmmmmm.

This was the best movie i have seen since the craft. I just loved it. emily and katharine play there parts wonderfully. its the best werwolf movie ive ever seen. everyone should see this movie. its morbid and great a must see.

I am so glad I rented this. I love it, my friends loved it. The best release in what was a very good year for horror movies (2001). Easily in my top ten favorites ever. I haven't related to a character as much as Brigitte in a very long time (gender notwithstanding). Can't wait to get the DVD. A good movie to judge your friends by (if they like it or not).

This is my all-time favorite movie. I loved the actors and the weird ending. They weren't any lovy dovy stuffs like in most movies and I loved the death pictures at the start. Wasn't the usual horror movie and it was quite funny.

I thought it was good. The plot and the concept was kewl. umm the ware wolf thing though..... i didnt really like that.

This movie basicly kicked ass, finally someone devises a decent script without all that lovey dovey sappy crap.

I've seen it twice now and once you get past the gore it's an awesome movie. But I didn't really like the ending that much.

If i had it my way, i'd rate with 15 out of 10. This is the best werewolf movie i've ever seen. Perfect story line, excellent construction of character, and character emotion, which gave this movie a sense of "realness". Again, terrific.

I really loved this movie. I saw it late one night on HBO (which has been known to play the occasional great movie late at night) and I've been quite obsessed with it ever since. It is not a flawless movie and in some spots it's eyes are too big for it's stomach but that's not a problem for me. Ambitious designs are admirable in any movie, and this film pulls most of it off. The two standouts for me in this film are it's story and it's cast. No actress/actor misses a step. Perkins and Isabelle deliver performances that literally drew me into the film. I really can't wait to see where their careers are going, although I'm sure they will both do well. And the story which was directed with refrain at times and with total abandon at others was wonderful. I've read it before, but the joining of adolescent sexuality and becoming a monster was perfect. For the budget this film was done on I'd like to tip my hat to it's creators and I look forward to seeing more of their work. I wanted to give a 10 to the film but it did have a slightly sloppy scene here and there, most notably the scene between Brigitte and Ginger's sexual conquest. That scene was too rushed and his performance during the scene was no where near as good as Isabelle acting (specifically her transformation performances) which made him seem fake, even if it was only by comparison with Isabelle.… Expand

Man, this is one sick film! it's bloody brilliant! no pun intended heh... I'd say you need a strong stomach for this one, but otherwise this is one of the best Werewolf films I have ever seen, not to mention Ginger's hot ^_~ I agree, it was a nice touch using a real werewolf and not some computer animated crap that really doesn't scare as much as a physical monster. I especially loved the end, i wont say more than that but those who've seen it might know why, its not hard. I gave this film a 10 because it had everything you could possibly want, blood, gore, strong bonds between the two sisters, similar storyline to other werewolf films but with a slight twist to keep it more origional. If you havent seen this film yet, find yourself a copy and watch it! the acting is ace too, even if Bridgitte is a little heavy on the breathing at the end, but its good atmosphere!… Expand

This is an excellent horror film, it was very well made. They rate it as a "B movie" well I give it a capital A. Ginger Snaps beats a lot of those high dollar horror movies that you go and spend $10.00 to see at the theater! Looking forword to the sequel!!!!!!

The movie resonates in your mind after you watch it. A sign of a good movie. Emily Perkins is great. She makes me care about the movie. I feel a connection with her. A comparison in music terms would be like Alanis Morissette's performance on her Jagged Little Pill album. You can't help but get involved and be drawn in. You feel for the character.
