I am not at all a fan of Zombies directorial take on this iconic charecter and story. However, he sets out to do what all directors fail to do when doing a remake. Remakes are a reimagination of a classic storyline. We as audience members hate the idea of remakes because ultimatly it turns to be corny because they bite off of past films using iconic quotes etc. What Zombie does is he changes the format here, he pushes the envelope and creates a whole new list of stakes for all the charecters and his reimagination completly takes over, this agravates a lot of people. Zombie's aartistry in regards to brining gore back to the screen is rather refreshing and orginal... again i do not like his vision of this story and charecters but he pushes buttons and gets people talking and well isnt that what theater and film is all about ... leaving the space talking? Kudos to Zombie for a job well done ... very original and cutting edge! Expand

I am a big fan of the original, however, I was sorely disappointed with this version. It sucked. It was very hard to follow, had lousy acting, and tries to make up for what it lacks with blood and guts. Worst movie have I have seen in a long long long long time. BTW-where was the scary theme song??? It could have used it knuckle head. Expand

Rob Zombie seems to have stolen elements from every Halloween movie to make the crap that is Halloween II (2009). I wonder if Dimension Films will give me back the 101 minutes of my life I wasted sitting in the movie theater. Expand
