Sep 1, 20107Show me the money!! Tom Cruise hams it up as usual as an agent for sportsmen, loses his job then starts up on his own. Renee Zellweger & Jonathan Lipnicki are in a good supporting cast & it's a pretty good story despite the silly ending bit with Cuba Gooding Jr.

Jan 26, 20128I really enjoyed the human aspect of this movie, Cameron Crowe does a really could job in capturing that element with his characters. In addition making those characters more real and someone we can all relate to on some level.

Apr 10, 20126Let's not jump to conclusions. I am comfortable with its high rating and bundle of awards, but I think there was the usual Hollywood style cheese flavoured romance. But I think Cruise is in his element here, which has much more soul in it compared to his Mission Impossible films. It is one of his better films, although leaving a slightly sweet and sour taste in your mouth afterwards.

88Working from his own original screenplay, Crowe builds a story line full of unexpected twists and digressions.

91Brashly engaging.

80It seems like nitpicking to say it, but the weakness of Jerry Maguire is that there's too much to it -- too many things happening at once for a viewer to digest. But with a charming cast like this, having too much isn't such a bad thing.
