A flop in a flop divided by zero. This recycled rehash of the original thing should've been a straight-to-video kind of movie or an original video worth uploading to YouTube.

It's funny how harsh the critics were on this movie as it was clearly a satire that commented on consumerism in the early 2000s as well as adding great music. My favourite cult classic of all time, though if I had been the creators I would have ensure it was PG instead of PG-13, as it then would have had a larger box office draw. Expand

It's SUPPOSE to be cheesy and slap stick. There is a boy band with Donald Faison, Seth Green, Cary Elwes and Breckin Meyer... who have a hit song "Back Door Lover"! Scrubs, Robin Hood Men In Tights, The Princess Bide, Austin Powers, Robot Chicken........ this is what you are dealing with. Oh and PeeWee Herman is the band manger. This is NOT A SERIOUS MOVIE. It's slap stick! Oh and before you hear about all the advertisement in the movie, it's part of the plot and the film creators did not accept ANY MONEY from ANY company for product placement. Get a sense of humor, take off your captain serious hat, and enjoy this very well done comedy. Expand

I first saw this movie when I was 9 years old. I fell instantly in love. The soundtrack is totally catchy and the girls have great chemistry together. I feel the movie would have seen more success had it been given a PG rating, as it really I first saw this movie when I was 9 years old. I fell instantly in love. The soundtrack is totally catchy and the girls have great chemistry together. I feel the movie would have seen more success had it been given a PG rating, as it really did appeal to younger than 13. I still frequently watch it now, but mostly because it gives me that warm fuzzy feeling. The language isn't too bad, and don't worry, your little girls won't get the sexual references. I know I didn't (until I was older anyways). It's good fun for the pre-teen crowd, and the music is fun and clean too. Expand
