  1. Lohan is superfluous to the qualities that elevate the film above other Clearasil comedies.
  2. Has the feel of a contemporary screwball romance, if not the crackling one-liners of classic screwball. But Lindsay Lohan and Chris Pine make a charming star-crossed couple, and tweens and teens will find enough plot reversals to keep them hooked.
  3. Lohan's good work in movies like "Mean Girls" and the "Freaky Friday" remake is a faint memory as she struggles through antics, unfunny pratfalls and squirmingly bad set pieces.

Presumably, this movie was designed to be a fun romp, and in that it fails.

For this movie's genre [romantic comedy] it is a decent movie. Perhaps my eight was a bit lenient, but I did enjoy the humor in this movie. If you are the type of person who enjoys these wacky romantic comedies then you will probably want to see this movie. Although you could probably hold off 'til it is out on DVD. Expand
  3. Ok, ok.....predictable. Ok, ok.....it's Lindsay Lohan. But, this movie entertains. I think the chemistry between Chris Pine and Lohan seems genuine and the cliched story line is bumped up a bit by the...well....by...er....I guess it's just a matter of believing in fate and love.....that may be all there is here.
