Beautifully filmed and mysterious, "Last life" leaves you with more questions than when the film starts, but it feels good to wonder about a movie like this. The characters are bent and bruised, but seem, in their own twisted ways, to be Beautifully filmed and mysterious, "Last life" leaves you with more questions than when the film starts, but it feels good to wonder about a movie like this. The characters are bent and bruised, but seem, in their own twisted ways, to be doing something about it. Whether it means planning a suicide, cleaning fastidiously, or learning Japanese to leave your deplorable situation, they are trying. A surprising movie, and more proof to me that great art is coming out of Thailand. Expand
