The man (Apted) behind the excellent "7 Up" series has put a human face to science, making the seemingly abstruse both accessible and easily relatable.
An inspirational documentary that treats thinkers (so often the villains of our entertainments) as heroes.
Makes for fascinating viewing.
Hey, kids! Skip the job fairs and go directly to a screening of Me & Isaac Newton.
As each scientist chronicles his or her story, one is impressed by the place that unswerving motivation and determination has assumed in the work.
You don't have to be a chem-lab wonk to be seduced by the seven scientists who discuss their work and lives in this engaging film.
It's a TV show and a facile one at that.
