WilsonH.Nov 16, 20070Hoffman tries to make it work but simply can't improv his way out of saying at least a few lines from this colossal disaster of a screenplay. Zach Helm is easily the worst writer in all of Hollywood. And I have heard of John August.

PeterK.Nov 15, 20070Hit the exit running, and don't look back. A movie so bad that only adults with children should have to suffer it, and even then it may be worth it to pay the sitter to sit in your place.

TupacS.Nov 16, 20070Wow this movie is horrible. The "jokes" are not funny at all. I don't even think that little kids would find it at all funny

JeanineT.Apr 17, 20089First viewing - that was fun. 2nd viewing - Hey, there's more to this than I realized. 3rd viewing - Ah-ha! This is like " The Little Prince." It appears simple but has much deeper messages in it. 4th viewing - I want to finish what this story started! A great story. Great acting. Great potential for a sequel. It's a keeper.

JaredC.Nov 17, 20075Soon to be a futuristic classic, Mr. Magorium's Woner Emporium justifies what a true famile/fantasy should be. But unexpectedly punches you in the mouth half way point with a comeplete letdown. Its a classic in the type of a way that Sleuth's a classic, but still doesn't reach a good enough standard to be a Zach Helm masterpiece.

Aug 28, 201010God knows why, but I love this movie, and i'm 13 years old. Dustin Hoffman doesn't give another Oscar performance, but it's still really interesting and unique. The rest of the castt is great, too. Adults may not be the biggest fans, but kids are sure to love it. The special effects are neat, the script is sad, heartwarming and funny, and the cast is sgreat. I highly recommend it.

Sep 5, 201010This is neither one of Dustin Hoffman's nor Natalie Portman's best movies. It's too slow;Dustin Hoffman doesn't play the snappy way he usually does,Natalie Portman is too sweet. I highly recommend you don't see this movie.

May 5, 20111This Movie Is Pretty Bad.,.. It's Somewhat Cute For Little Kids, But It Won't Get The Job Done... The Cast Even Isent That Great.. I Love Natile But Sorry Bad Movie.. It Seems So Uncreative In Some Ways... The Script Is Kinda Lazy But Cute.. All I Can Say Is Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium Will Not Be Voted "Best Movie" Sorry For My Low Score 1!

50Sprinkles in charming moments but ultimately doesn't evoke enough wonderment to overcome its tongue-twisting title and completely win over adults along with kids.
-
Helm's pacing is as pallid as his palette is vivid, and for a movie that celebrates wonder and strangeness, the whole enterprise feels coy and half-baked.
-
50For all its playful touches and neat-o nostalgia for nondigital entertainment, the whimsy feels forced.
