  1. Be warned that the results are in aggressively awful taste from beginning to end.

Aspires to be a highly stylized exploration of the mind of a serial killer, but it's nothing more than a gory, bloodsoaked snuff film, reveling in its own shock value.

Depraved, disgusting, misogynistic, ugly, and interminable, Murder-Set-Pieces is the lowest form of cinematic life, a movie so utterly degenerate it makes you wish that indie filmmakers had to prove a basic standard of decency in order to buy a camera.

It really doesn't deserve a 10 out of 10 but it only has a rating of 3.9? Jesus... It's a well shot film with lots of hot women being murdered and raped and also has great music in it. What more could you ask for? Expand

It's about time someone had the balls to step up and create a realistic horror film with no concerns for the negativity sure to follow from narrow minded do-gooders. Here's to you Nick on a job well done! This film shows the depravity that exists in the world that most choose to ignore and pretend doesn't exist. And Nick also blows right through the taboo of not harming little children. Even little babies aren't protected in this one! This one will prove to be too much for the general public. Most people are weak minded and need others to help them make decisions and to explain why things are the way they are in the world. (Sounds like organized religion doesn't it?) But for the avid horror fan and those that recognize this as a very realistic masterpiece of cinema, the world of horror movies being exciting is back! The film quality is superb and the background music and soundtrack are dead on! I look very forward to any and all works that Nick associates himself with in the future. Without doubt this is the best and most realistic horror film ever produced! Expand

Easily the most disturbing film I've ever seen...I LOVED IT. This movie should have gotten the accolades and positive notices that went to that piece of crap "Henry, Portrait of a Serial Killer". Now talk about a movie pieced together with no story, plot or narrative. The murder/torture scenes notwithstanding, It was a very realistic portrayal of an all too real world. Wake up folks! The lead actor, Sven Garrett is amazingly intense and scarier than Kruger, Freddy, Myers, Chainsaw..and all those other characters (not to mention he's HOT). Collapse

Disgusting and vile. This exploitation like film is just a waste of cinema. A big waste. It's just not easy to watch, not the scenes, but the fact that it's more than 100 minutes of random killing and boring dialogue. Expand

Awful movie made by a talentless director. The lead performance by Sven Garrett is so bad it's laughable. There is hardly any gore in the film unless you count blood splattered on walls as "gore". Above all, the movie is boring . This may be one of the worst movie ever made. It should also be noted that all the people here giving the movie "great" reviews are part of the director's street team. These reviews are not to be trusted. They have been doing this all over the internet. This goes to prove just how bad the film is as only employees of the director are praising the film. Don't waste your money on this director's crap. An utter waste of time! The recent BBFC ban made me track this one down. It so desperately tries to shock but the "directors" non existent understanding of how to frame a shot, build tension, develop character or use music means that you are completely detached. I am sure child murder should spark some kind of audience reaction other than a yawn. Anyone can write some scenes that are meant to shock (all reasonable people have some kind of moral code) but it takes a real film maker (stand up Wes Craven, George Romero, John McNaughton, John Carpenter etc...) to make that audience gasp. MSP is a complete and utter waste of time. Avoid at all costs!!! Expand

If you want an idea of how bad this movie is: (1)The uncut version of this film graphically depicts the murder of a child. But you really couldn't give a hoot when watching it. Because its that bad. (2)Look at all the fake "reviews" on here from the "general public" calling it the best horror ever. Yeah right. (3)The opening credits of Irreversible (Just the bit where the names are listed before the film actually starts) is ten times more disturbing than this entire move. Expand
