  • Starring: Ben Stiller, Carla Gugino, Ricky Gervais
  • Summary: In this wild comedy fantasy, a bumbling night watchman (Stiller) at New York's Museum of Natural History inadvertently triggers a dormant curse that fully animates the dioramas, causing Mayans, Romans, Gladiators and cowboys to emerge, not to mention an angry T-Rex.

    Wonderfully energetic.
  2. The sad truth is that the film squanders almost all of its inspiration in the first 20 minutes or so.
  3. What a dull, nice movie, wrenched from a wild premise and battered into docility.
  4. Stranded in this charmless fantasy, Stiller is reduced to his old halting, squirming tricks.

Its really amazing film i like bin stiller and his funny films.
  2. It is not as predictable and formulatic as everyone says it is. A great idea is well executed and the result is a fun family film with a lot of good performances. Expand
  3. "Night At the Museum" is way too formulaic, but hey, at least it makes you laugh.

The best thing about this movie is the cast, which includes veterain actors Bill Cobbs, Mickey Rooney and Dick Van Dick as well as british actors Steve Coogan and Ricky Gervais. Sadly Ben Stiller isn't very good in the film and boredom strikes fifteen minutes into the film. It has too many problems for a movie which could have been good. I wanted to like this movie but found it impossible as the clock clicked away. Expand
