This would-be tearjerker without the musical numbers of typical Bollywood fare is for die-hard Amitabh Bachchan fans only.

It’s stunt acting and frequently more creepy than moving, but it also gives Paa it’s weird I’m-my-own-grandpa charge.
  3. The film is no more than a tedious, over-long Bollywood soap opera.
