PP2 sometimes feels less like a movie than a two-hour episode of Glee ghostwritten by Amy Schumer; jokes fly like they’re being shot from T-shirt guns at a gonzo pep rally, and not all of them stick the landing.
Reprising the kind of musical performances, campus hijinks, stinging humor and sassy sisterhood put in place by its eminently likeable predecessor, Pitch Perfect 2 remixes the elements and comes up with something even slicker and sharper.
o filme é otimo, nao sei por que as pessoas estao reclamando tanto, é engraçado/emocionante/musical, nesse 2 filme tem muito mais musica o que é bem mais legal.
This was great movie all of the songs are good because Taylor swift song are here ^_^ I want part 3 of pitch perfect this movie are great gonna watch it again :-)
The biggest strength is in the Bellas themselves. More confident in their respective roles, Anna Kendrick in particular develops her lead from a prickly outsider to someone slightly more goofy, and by extension a little more likeable.
I’m also guessing Kendrick did not want to come back. I’ve never seen her so flat-out bad — distracted, depressed, conviction-less. Anna, I still adore you, but you should have tried to make it work.
Now it's senior year in college and the group gets kicked outnof competition. Now they have to figure out a way to compete. Not as good as the first but I think this one is funnier than the first.
Improves towards the end, but for the most part 'Pitch Perfect 2' is a disappointing sequel.
I wouldn't say it's anything bad, but even soon after viewing I am struggling to remember any good moments from it. I found the cast and music to be the big plus points to 'Pitch Perfect', though both of those things are off in this follow-up.
Anna Kendrick (Beca) doesn't really do anything, at least very little that's even close to being memorable. Skylar Astin (Jesse) takes a back seat, which I don't actually think is a negative. Adam Devine (Bumper) and Rebel Wilson (Fat Amy) aren't as amusing, though the story featuring those two probably did interest me most. Hailee Steinfeld, meanwhile, is an alright addition.
Not a sequel I liked. Hopefully the third film improves upon this.
The script is horrible, and the "jokes" are a disaster, especially the conversations between the 2 casters are horrendous and made me cringed to a maximum level. The relationships between some characters are just unnecessary like Amy and Bumper, Emily and Benji. Songs were good, and so was the acting. If only they had hired a better writer, this movie could potentially be better
Here we go again with the movie being just the same as the first one. Its still boring, teenage girls, and really didn't really feel like they cared. But who cares, not teenage girls obviously.
