  1. Brimming with values that should serve its young audience well: altruism, friendship, self-sacrifice, responsibility.
  2. Sometimes the 2D and 3D animation doesn't blend, and the heinous pop songs would embarrass Peter Cetera, but there's plenty to like, including a fascinating mechanical contraption and musical score both shamelessly and lovingly stolen from "The Dark Crystal."
  3. Clearly, interest has waned - both because children grow up and because they move on. It might be time for the folks behind this particular fad to do the same.

Demonstrates no improvement or enhancement. But the action this time is even less inspired than past battles

Any richness in the drawing of the backgrounds only underscores the weirdly flat, affectless renderings of the characters moving through them.

Kids will revolt, parents will snooze, and I will be downright giddy if I never encounter another Pokémon movie as long as I live. Ack!

Really loved this movie when it came on DVD, its awesome to see they where making progress of the use of a Blend of 3D Animations, and normal drawings, Latios and Latias are one of the best pokemon they made, to bad there is no other movie about those 2... Expand

Of all the Pokemon movies, this was by far the one that I watched the most as a kid (probably because it was the only one that I owned on VHS or DVD at the time but still). The movie takes place in a Pokemon city that didn't appear in the game in which Ash again meets a legendary Pokemon, but this time it's to tease Gen. 3. The movie is the last to be made with the original cast of characters from the show and I think that it's a pretty great send of to them. The music is again great and the visuals are fantastic, minus some bad 3d and 2d mixing. The characters are again likeable and they do a pretty good performance as well. And that's about it everything else just fits together, so I would recommend this movie to (again) any Pokemon fan. Expand

Despite a few surprises, this Pokemon movie can get messy.

The voice acting is terrible as well as the connection of the movie. i suggest making your kids watch the 'fun' on the TV rather in the theaters.

Pokemon Heroes does not feature anything worthwhile for parents or outsiders to the series, but will keep children entertained and may suffice as a guilty pleasure to fans. Expand
