  1. Pornography: A Thriller may have a few interesting things to say about porn. But thrills? Not so much.
  2. Writer-director David Kittredge clearly has serious things on his mind about such subjects as voyeurism, the thin line between fantasy and reality, the link between sex and violence, etc., but whatever points he is trying to make are lost in the general muddle.

    Ambitiously layered and almost completely incoherent, Pornography: A Thriller is a somber thesis film buried under a host of nightmarish, Lynchian conceits.

    It’s a crock to believe a film’s worth a twirl because it has a saucy title.
