    I am certainly NOT a devotee of the love film genre. However, this very touching, extremely funny love story was the one that put me past my bias. It is cute, touching, weird, quirky and most of all interesting. If I were you I would give this movie a chance. If you have an open mind and a sense of humor (and a love for all that is Canadian) WATCH IT!!!

    For the record, Rare Birds doesn't even fly as a birder's special, since Tasseter's Sulfurious Duck is a fictional species. Now, if they'd seen a Eurasian Wigeon, then we'd be talking.
