EmoKidMar 5, 20072Amusing but really stupid. Just wait till it's out on DVD and borrow it from a friend. Keep your ten bucks for gas.

JordanA.Mar 8, 20070This movie was terrible. I thought it was going to be really funny. It was pathetic, only a few scenes were funny, but the rest? Just utterly pathetic. Don't waste your time watching this.

PnArdyPnArdyMay 13, 20072Absolutely dumb comedy with a Russian topless model in one episode. That's why I give it 2 instead of 0.

JonG.Feb 23, 20078If you love the TV show, you'll "get" the movie. If you don't like the show, you won't like the movie. Yeah, the plot is thin. So what? The show is funny regardless of the plot.

RogerD.Feb 24, 20079A splendid job of transferring their TV show to the big screen---very funny!! I hope there's a sequel.

AlanL.Mar 2, 20072I really wanted to like it. Really, I did. I just think these marvelous improvers work better in short skits rather than a full length "narrative".

PaulOOOOOOJun 23, 20076I thought it was funny for the most part, but did seem to drag and it could have been a lot better.

ThomasM.Jul 4, 20077Fans of the show won't be disappointed. People new to Reno 911 should brace themselves for improvisation and satire next to the more conventional humor shown in trailers. DVD extras include extended segments where the actors are allowed to just keep inventing punchlines -- great stuff.

JohnS.Feb 23, 20073I expected so much more from this gifted comedy group. They should have just thrown together a Reno 911 greatest moments. Now THAT would be a movie!

HilG.Feb 24, 200710LOVED IT!!!! It is not supposed to be fine art or oscar material. It is supposed to make you laugh outloud at how inept the deputies and Dangle are. Hilarious brainless entertainment. :)

KonnanO.Feb 25, 20070If you thought the TV show was bad, just wait until you see this. Someone must have sold their soul to Satan to get this pile of horse manure into theaters.

BilBMar 12, 20078Reno 911 did what it was made to do. Make people laugh. I laughed my butt off.

RobertMar 14, 20073Was surprised at just how uninspired this movie is... really just an overly long but average episode of the TV series. The TV show is mildly amusing but this does not take it to another level at all, except 3 times the mediocre-ness. Pretty pointless, I'm disappointed. Surprised that they even bothered to release this in theatres.

Dec 20, 20116It was ok. A lot like the tv show and it did have a few funny moments but it was a bit too boring at most parts and did make you lose interest a bit. Its pretty much Reno 911 in long form, It was ok.

The TV show excels with its short squad-car bursts of random inanity; here, the plot -- stretched out to 84 minutes -- feels like a dime bag tossed aside by a fleeing perp.
-
This is not high art. It might not qualify as low art. But it is 90 minutes or so during which people can put their brains on the shelf and enjoy a few laughs.
-
58It probably cost less than the catering budget of average Adam Sandler comedy and, in its own hit-and-miss scattershot fashion, it's about as funny. At least when it hits.
