  • Summary: A violent, street-fighting, extreme-stutterer becomes a great, powerful communicator. Revoloution seems like just a great story, but it is the first movie in history to be structured around a shamanic ritual, which when experienced by certain audiences, creates an identification with the near death awakening of the lead character and results in radical and instantaneous transformation in the viewer. Proving the old adage about the road to hell, Revoloution at least has its heart in the right place.
  5. Less a movie than an 80-minute promo for a self-help program for the seriously desperate.

Not even a grumpy cameo by Burt Young and some lovely shots of the Brooklyn Bridge can save a movie as punch-drunk as its benighted protagonist.

The people who are inflicting this movie on us intend it as some sort of inspirational epic. But the only thing it will motivate viewers to do is get out of the theater.

This movie is what it claims to be an independent film that fosters a personal revolution for the viewer. [***SPOILERS***] Brett Carr' brings humanity and heart to his performance as a stuttering boxer. Anyone with heart can connect to this character and his struggle as his past continues to repeat itself in his life. As Lou's world comes crumbling down, he is driven to transfom himself and the audience transfoms with him. This film is transformational/spiritual cinema at it's finest. In a time when when most films are all about money, this is all about the heart. It is guranteed to awaken your spirit and compell you to live the life of your dreams. Expand
