    Like its two predecessors, Scary Movie 3 is a hit-or-miss affair, but the gags that connect really connect.

    Overall, the whole isn’t as funny as some of the parts. While some scenes had me laughing hysterically, others had me looking at my watch and feeling like I was in the middle of a “Saturday Night Live” sketch that was just going on waaaaaay too long.

    The average issue of Mad magazine contains significantly smarter movie satire, because Mad goes for the vulnerable elements and Scary Movie 3 just wants to quote and kid.

    It's probably the most crazy, stupid and funny "Scary Movie", but this ones story is not that good. Aliens pee from their fingers. Seriously? But this parody sure knows how to make teenagers laugh and that's the main point. I laughed so hard that my dad thinks I'm a retarded person. With "Scary Movie 3", the "Scary Movie" films are still on top of all the other parody movies. And to think, they're better than most comedies as well.… Expand

    My metascore to "Scary Movie 3" would be 46 out of 100. Why? Because it just won't appeal. There's so much better stuff out there. Yes, it's funny; very funny actually, but it just won't appeal.… Expand

    I am sorry Anna Faris you are way too good for this awful franchise that can't seem to go back to form from the original. Scary movie 3 is silly, stupid humor with absolutely no heart at all which this franchise really, really needs dearly. I give this movie 16%.… Expand
