JayH.Feb 13, 20085Joel David Moore is quite good and appropriately creepy. Amber Tamblyn's performance just doesn't ring true though. It's a very slow moving film, but it is well made. I had a hard time staying interested in it.

40The film toys with audience expectations and perceptions by playing fast and loose with circumstances and clues, while leading to an almost unavoidable and dismayingly obvious conclusion.
-
40It's a wit-free homage to Hitchcock and M. Night Shyamalan that, for all its slick presentation, never comes close to hitting the mark of its forebears.

A middling, if stylish, psychological thriller making a perfunctory big-screen pit stop before its DVD release next week.
