    The bottom line is that Staying Alive is nowhere as good as its 1977 predecessor, "Saturday Night Fever."

    Time has shown this to be one of the strongest sequels in film history. A must see!

    I haven't seen this since I saw it in a theater in 1983. I plan on keeping it that way. I remember liking a few of the songs, but I also I haven't seen this since I saw it in a theater in 1983.
