    What an amazing film! The movie wonderfully adaptss the novel and brings the characters to life. One of those movies that actually made me cry at the end. A must-see!

    The dialogue and acting are stagy at times, especially in the early scenes, but the characters are compelling and the Indian atmosphere is vividly sketched.
