    It's a yabba-dabba-delight.
  2. With no headliners to raise hopes, this negligible entertainment has its own boneheaded charms.

If you walk in with your expectations at a suitably low setting, you won't walk away disappointed.
  4. It's zany. Actually, it's so zany it's almost creepy.
  5. Levant turns up the slapstick, doubletakes, and epic fart jokes to a tortured extreme.

Even the youngest members of the audience appeared to be more interested in their dwindling soda supply than anything up on the screen. Yabba dabba doom.

I see where and why this film coped a lot of slack but I honestly enjoyed it just as much as I did when I was a kid. Sure the first live-action Flintstones film was better but this one is still highly entertaining and certainly stays true to the cartoon in a lot of ways. There are a lot of funny witty jokes that really make the film as well as just being a bright colourful film to watch. Corny, yes and quite a bit too, but not in a way that ruins the movie, but some won't like it others will. Expand
