  • Starring:
  • Summary: Dana Carvey is Pistachio Disguisey, the last in a long line of "masters of disguise" in a family that goes back through 2,000 years of European history.

  1. Feels like nothing less than Dana Carvey's desperate bid for his own "Austin Powers"-like franchise, but with a harmless humor far less crude. Carvey favors whoopee cushion punch lines to toilet gags and references to big butts over sexual double-entendres.
  2. At times, it actually hurts to watch.

For a movie that's all about camouflage, this sketch comedy epilogue turns out to be its most creative disguise: a thin coating of humor slapped on an otherwise ponderous film.
  4. Imagine combining bad imitations of the "Ace Ventura" and "Austin Powers" movies and you'll have a rough idea of this feeble Dana Carvey farce.

A film so family-safe it feels sheathed in plastic Bubble Wrap. Unfortunately, it's not even as much fun as popping the bubbles. It doesn't matter that the film is less than 90 minutes. It still feels like a prison stretch.
  6. 10
I understand how hard it is for parents to find movies to take their kids to, but the thought of them or their children getting stuck at this stinker galls me. Summer vacation feels short enough as it is.
  7. A gimmick in search of a movie: how to get Carvey into as many silly costumes and deliver as many silly voices as possible, plot mechanics be damned.

This is one of the best movies I have ever seen, even though stupid with bad acting, that pretty much is the point. There are plenty of good movies like this, with lines so ridiculous you just have to laugh. The main character(Pistachio) is very funny. The supporting characters, although lame only add to the spot on humor.
Let me warn, there is some possibility of hating, but for I, it's hilarious.

I can't see why everybody dislikes this movie. I thought Dana was hilarious at acting in this movie. In fact, I'd pay any amount of money for the turtles guy suit. I thought it was hilarious and I think the impersinations were wonderful. I catch this way better than John Carter. Expand

Although this movie was pointless and boring, I'm surprised to see it in the "worst-movies-of-all-time-genre" It provided mild entertainment and was reasonably well done. There are certainly worse movies out there, like Waterworld and Biodome. Expand

I think it was pretty stupid and I agree with Mark M. it does have much to do with your maturity. But it gets a solid 2 just beacuse it had one part that gave me a hint of laughter. Expand

This movie has no potential whatsoever. Jokes are bad, plot is stupid and it's just dissapointing. This movie can be summed up in two words: bin material. Expand
