    Jewel-like colours, exqusite costumes, restrained but compelling emotions, plus an old story with a new twist!

    I wish this film would get wider distribution...it is one of the best films of 2004. It is FAR superior to the American versions of "Dangerous Liasions" of a few years ago with Malkovich in one, and Colin Firth in the other. This one was played as more of a love story, more Shakespearean, more tragic, more heartbreaking. The acting is tremendous, particularly the woman playing the I wish this film would get wider distribution...it is one of the best films of 2004. It is FAR superior to the American versions of "Dangerous Liasions" of a few years ago with Malkovich in one, and Colin Firth in the other. This one was played as more of a love story, more Shakespearean, more tragic, more heartbreaking. The acting is tremendous, particularly the woman playing the Michelle Pfeiffer character in the other version. Truly should not be missed. Expand
