A clear descendant/ripoff of Halloween, just 100x hornier. The bad guy is pretty weak unfortunately, just like a random short goon, he kinda redeemed himself with a good monologue near the end. Features a completely bizarre side plot of the girls trying to remember who scored all 6 runs in the MLB game the night before, multiple scenes and conversations are dedicated to this.

This really didn’t have many redeeming features. There was plenty of nudity and the odd chuckle and not much more. The deaths are unimaginative, the story dull, the acting bad and the effects leave far too much to the imagination. I can’t even remember the ending it was that dull, I only watched it last night. Not really worth watching except for the nudity that pops up sporadically. That really isn’t enough though.

Slumber Party Massacre is exactly what you expect an early 80s horror movie to be. No more, no less. If you have nostalgia for horror during that time then sure, give it a shot but if you aren't missing anything.
