    The Square really tightens the screws - it's so skillfully made it makes you shift uncomfortably to the edge of your seat. It's a binge of cringe.

    The whole thing unfolds with sadistic precision, but Edgerton's expert manipulation makes it a fun ride nonetheless.
  3. What is impressive is the filmmaker's facility with atmosphere, plus his ripe eye for giving blue-collar bruisers just enough dimension to make them more than mouth-breathing meatheads.

  1. Not a bad DVD; but sort of the same old type of affair-gone-wrong formula but with Aussie accents. Also, gives the watcher a bit of a look at life in Australia. Definitely worth a watch. Expand

  2. Yeah its ok to watch but there are far too many twists and turns. For a couple of times i thought i had missed some parts but it was all part of the 'intrigue' ; its overly complicates itself as if they did not have enough faith in the original script. Expand
