The only thing that kept this movie afloat was Christina Applegate. Other than that it was a Sex In the City rip off.

Never seen such a vulgar, brassy film ever. Really disgusting dirty scenes at toilets, a lot of underwear, and lousy gags. Degrading all women to sexobjects, full of men fantasy.

This movie was hysterical. It was a bit predictable, but now then all you really need IS a good laugh and this movie provides it.

A few raunchy laughs, but otherwise very lame. Hey, I love to look at Diaz as much as the next guy...OK, probably more than the next guy...but even her bootylicious presence cannot save a bad script and even worse direction.

The film was only sporadically funny, but the parts that did strike a humorous vein, were absolutely hilarious. The movie could have been so much more though, especially with such a fine cast, bu the script is so juvenile and unthoughtful for the most part that the film is pretty dismissible. In particular, the "prologue" to the film is mind-numbingly bad.

"A hybrid of Bridget Jones' Diary"? With what? You can't have a film that's a hybrid of one thing! Unless Bridget's a hemaphrodite, and I don't think she is. No, the Sweetest Title For A Lazy Critic isn't a hybrid of anything, except possibly Bridget Jones and a sh.t sandwich. Why? Two words: Penis. Song. Case closed.

Complete dribble from beginning to end. If you are into over acting mixed in with a little musical action then tis may be your bag.... Not even the fine bodies of the leading ladies can save this shocker !!

This movie was horrible... but it has to be offset by the fact that I was falling out of my seat laughing half the time. Dumb, vulgar, and ridiculous, but also hilarious at times.

This movie is about as funny as SARS. And at least SARS puts you out of your misery faster.

What is most depressing about this film is Cameron Diaz. Where in There's Something About Mary and Charlie's Angels, she was simply alive with charm she now should looks and acts like a tart. The make up is horrible, the jokes (with the exception of an admittedly hilarious musical number) are uninspired and unfunny and the plot... well, lets not go there.

I haven't laughed this hard at a movie in a long time. "The Sweetest Thing" is completely and fantastically hilarious! It gets a bit crude at times, and it's rather predictable, but it's a grand film for side-splitting screwball comedy.
