Jan 7, 201110This movie is exactly what it needed to be for TMNT fans. All the critics hating it don't truly love the TMNT. For those who love the TMNT, this is your movie.

MattS.Mar 20, 20073Thanks for ruining my childhood.

EricC.Mar 23, 20071The wierd rubber costumes and awesomely cheesy jokes are gone, and everything that made the originals fun are gone with them. A classic for the 80s and early 90s generation has been turned in to a completely unenjoyable kids movie. Hopefully this won't be done again with Transformers this summer, and hopefully Thundercats won't attempt to be revived like it.

[Anonymous]Mar 21, 20070Terrible. One of the worst films ever realized. I hated every minute of it and wish not to talk about it.

TerryMar 24, 200710Get over it people! The 87 toon is a considered a disgrace to the TMNT franchise. The creators wanted this movie to have nothing to do with the 87 show, so stop saying this movie raped your childhood. This is the real TMNT!

JeffM.Mar 25, 20075Rainy day, had free passes, took the kids...meh. It held their attention for most of it, and the fight scenes were technically competent, but the plot was pretty weak, coming from a non-fan anyway...

RandyJ.Mar 21, 20072A highly anticipated movie that is destined only to disappoint millions. One of the biggest animation and studio mistakes ever used to Finish off a chapter in comic book history. A shame.

-
LindaMar 21, 20070In a generation that grew up to these warriors, it is a shame that we have to pay for it with a movie like this. One of the most immature, pathetic, and heartless animated movies to hit the screens in the last decade. Absolutely terrible in nearly every way possible. F

DanielC.Mar 26, 20071The fact that TNMT was woeful in the first place doesn't put this movie in good stead. I know people love to relive the turtles but it's not a franchise that deserves a full feature-length movie. And soon there's going to be Transformers for gods sake. Has Hollywood run out of good ideas or has it been taken over by lifeless nerds?

JonMMar 29, 20079Wow!? This movie was way beyond my expectations! Went to see this movie with my 5 year old son expecting it to be in line with the old cartoon series of my childhood and was completely blown away by what they done to this franchise. If they continue to make TMNT like this I am definitely a fan again!

TroyK.Mar 25, 20077Best turtle anything I have seen yet! I am a 36 year old anime freak and I was expecting to be very disappointed. I took my 13 and 15 year old nephews and they liked it too! What war really amazing was that the theater was full of kids and I didn't hear a peep out of one of them during the movie.

KevinMar 25, 20079Fantastic movie, definitely good for kids of all ages whether they're 8 or 80. The battle scenes are fantastic, and the tension between Raph and Leo is excellent. Definitely recommend to anyone, turtle fan or no.

MarcD.Mar 29, 20077If this had been released at the peak of the original serier' popularity, it would be a monster box office sensation. As it stands, it's a highly entertaining trip down memory lane. Leo, Raph, Donni and Mikey make a welcome return to the world and into th 21st Century. Dudeeee.

RichardH.Apr 13, 20078I was pleasantly surprised when I went to see this film, I was genuinely really entertained, I thought the script was surprisingly well written, it didn't aim to just please kids or nostalgia junkies, it even poked fun of itself at times. Good stuff!

Nov 30, 20108The teenage mutant ninja turtles are great characters and this movie is too!
I must say the animation is well done, voices: good action: very good.
Kids will love this film and the action as well. -
Oct 23, 20108this movie is by far an entertaining CGI treat

Jan 26, 20115Love the fact that they are bringing back the series but I didn't enjoy the plot way too far out there. TMNT is great CG and with voices that bring back the nostalgic memories of the old Turtle movies but the sci-fi storyline just didn't do it for me.

Mar 12, 20138A very special movie for me! I grew up on the TMNT series and this movie is really awesome! I would give it a 10/10 but i just missed The Shredder Also Raph and Leo conflict was really annoying. So my final verdict is 8/10. Highly recommended for all tmnt fans and action animation lovers!
-
50A tad too conservative and calculated. CGI delivers best on moody sets and a noirish atmosphere achieved by lighting, backgrounds and visual effects. But the characters look like plastic dolls, and the story is recycled sci-fi.
-
50Munroe's script denies fans the satisfaction of a decent story or amusing interactions. Rather than waiting for a screenplay that warranted their bigscreen return, TMNT feels like an attempt to exploit the phenomenon further.
-
Writer-director Kevin Munroe parties like it's 1989, grooving on the extreme-sports set pieces and vintage slang to generally cowabusted effect.
