Summary:
While riding the bus home from work one day, night watchman Jack Crawford gets distracted by a cute girl and has his gun stolen from him. In order to get it back, he enlists the help of the volatile local town guru, Eddie, a wise guy with a limitless range of philosophies, bad jokes and unbelievable anecdotes. Their search reveals a series of strange coincidences and characters in the peculiar underworld of life seething below the sleepy surface of suburban New Jersey. A modern American folk story.
