The best thing I can say about this movie is that I didn't kill myself during it, though I did contemplate which would be worse... I've had hangovers that were better than this film.

Hmmmm, ...Where to start, The acting was mind numbingly flat, the story line was even worse, and by the time the action started I was almost asleep. If it wasn't for the bikes I probably would have switched it off. Save your self the lost of a few brain cells and just don't watch it.

I thought the special effects were too cartoonish. Also unrealistic, completely throwing away any laws of physics and motion. This became a big distraction for me because it was just not believable. Had some great stunts. I think the boys may like it better than us girls (duh).

At last contemporary Termite Art. TORQUE was made by people who excatly know what they were doing and therefore lives up to the tradition of the great and often quiet subversive B-Moives of the fifites.

This movie was great. The special effects were awesome. Nice movie, but stupid.

No matter how many reviewers say how hip and fun this film is, it doesn't change the fact that it's vacant of anything interesting.

I thought this movie was great!! I thought that it had everything it said it was going to have like non stop action!!I loved it!! and if youre someone seeking action then this is definetly what you are looking for.

Torque is a disgrace to movies in general. The most pathetic film I have ever seen.

I don't know what other reviewers saw in this, but I personally found this movie to be incredible. This is spellbinding reality cinema about duplicity and, worse, ignorance at the highest level. We truly feel for these characters, tricked into street bike racing because of their own greed and need to prove themselves. It also shows how some people we know so well can turn their backs on us. After walking out of the theater from this fine epic, my mind was filled with questions: How much trust does anyone truly have? Is there some inherent danger in putting our trust in others? How can we, an imperfect creature, hope to come to terms with the constantly changing world we live in? Torque is truly one of the finest action/existential pictures of our time. … Expand

Hey Patricks S., I SURE AS HELL DIDN'T FEEL FOR THE DORKY CHARACTERS! Also, the questions I had were more on the lines of How can a movie be this dissapointing? Is Ice Cube really that annoying in real life? I doubt it. What would hurt more, watcthing 5 minutes of this garbage or getting my balls pulled off by human hands? How can a terrible piece of crap like this have made you think? Also, the terrible Dialouge. Oh, my god, here are some lines i heard in the movie, that I can't remember all the way. Hey, Bullet-proof vest, you were always a punk. Gimme the stuff, dog. I gotta do it, can't stop me. And the CURSING! It curses to attempt to be cool. Example, "You're gonna lose. Terrible cinematography uses close-ups and poor camera angles to ruin the few good stunts and visual spectacles, while bad acting and worthless direction do nothing to help the awful plot. There is no sense in the action, which lacks plausibility, entertainment and realism - 0 for 3 is pretty bad in an action flick. This movie looks to have been made solely for the egos of its actors, but none of them are serviced well.… Expand

Jamming shards of glass into my eyes and ears would be more entertaining than this 81 minute sausage fest.

Fact is, there is a trend forming, special effects are becoming more and more cartoony and pastel-oriented, making things like driving fast bewtween cars and breaking their windsheilds look waaaaaaaaaaayyyyy more exciting than it actually is. Also, .....since when can you ride a bike on the top of a train?

This movie was great.. I hate all those people who go to movies and try to make sense of it..It's physically impossible to do what they did on the train but IT'S A MOVIE and IT was freaking awesome A film like this is supposed to Be fun and thats all. The plot and acting, was pretty bad, but who CARES..Hot Chicks, Explosions, guns, Insane speed, and non stop Violence.....Great Movie.
