Caroline Rhea

Biography: Caroline Gilchrist Rhea was born the youngest of three girls in Montreal, Quebec, Canada to an American father and Canadian mother. She grew up and lived in Canada until 1989 when she moved to New York when she attended The New School of Social Research to study stand-up comedy. As she started to perform around New York City, she quickly received a good reputation. Not long after she moved to Los Angeles to start a Hollywood career. She got her first movie roll in Meatballs II and starred in the NBC series Pride & Joy in 1995. A year later she received the role of probably her most famous part as Aunt Hilda on the ABC series Sabrina, the Teenage Witch. She also had recurring appearances on The Hollywood Squares. In 2002, Caroline started The Caroline Rhea Show that was to replace the ending The Rosie O'Donnell Show. It lasted one year. She appears on several shows such as Celebrity Blackjack and The Biggest Loser.
