Clea DuVall

Biography: Clea DuVall was born on September 25, 1977 in Los Angeles, California. As a teenager, Clea dropped out of high school and got her own apartment and a job, because her parents were in the middle of a nasty divorce and she couldn't handle the pressure. When Clea decided that she wanted to be an actress, she returned to high school. She applied to the Los Angeles School of Arts, but did horribly when it came to schoolwork because she had to work to support herself. She eventually got her first major role in 1998's teen science fiction flick "The Faculty". Prior to this, she starred in an episode of the acclaimed series "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" in the episode "Out of Mind, Out of Sight" (1.11) as Marcie Ross. More roles came, as she starred in 1999's comedy "But I'm A Cheerleader" as outcast lesbian Graham and in "Girl Interrupted" as a mental patient, released the same year. She also got roles in 2003's "Identity", "Carnivale", and "21 Grams" opposite Orlando Bloom and Naomi Watts. Most recent roles are in "Helter Skelter" (2004) and "The Grudge" (2004).
