Biography: Daniela Amavia was born in Athens (Greece) on March 4th 1972. Raised in Germany, she studied acting in London.

Amavia's path to Hollywood began at the State Theater Corps de Ballet in Germany, and continued at Goethe University, where she studied Drama and American Literature. After starring in Amiri Baraka's The Dutchman, a feature-film director discovered her, thus launching her prolific European film career. She has appeared on various TV programs, including Felicity and the HBO movie The Ice Princess. Add writer-director-producer to her credits as well, with her short film Rockin! Good Times. She starred with Lynn Redgrave in the Buena Vista International film Venus & Mars, for which she also received an executive producer's credit and in The Woman Every Man Wants, which debuted at the 2001 Sundance Film Festival and garnered her the Best Actress Award at the New York International Independent Film Festival that year.
