Forest Whitaker

Biography: His parents are Forest Whitaker Jr and Laura Francis Smith.Whitaker has an eye condition called strabismus, often incorrectly referred to as 'lazy eye'.Initially Forest was a football player at Cal State Fullerton. There the coach continued to play him despite a painful back injury. Whitaker transferred to University of Southern California in Los Angeles (U.S.C.) to take up acting, as he felt the coach cared more about winning than the health of his players. He also studied at the Drama Studio London. In 1996, Whitaker married fellow actress Keisha Whitaker. They have two daughters, Sonnet and True. He has a son named Ocean from a previous relationship and a stepdaughter named Autumn from a previous relationship of Keisha's.
