Hamish Linklater

Biography: Hamish got his start in theatre but has since gone on to land parts in films including Groove, Final Draft, The Sailor's Girl, Everything's Gone Green and Fantastic Four. He has made many appearances in TV series, including Gideon’s Crossing, Dragnet and American Dreams.

Hamish’s mother, Kristin Linklater, runs a Shakespeare theatre company and also teaches an acting technique dubbed “the Linklater voice”.

Hamish married playwright, Jessica Goldberg, on January 21, 2002, after meeting her when he auditioned for her play Refuge.

In 2006, Hamish won the role of Matthew in the comedy series The New Adventures of Old Christine and played the role of Frank in the psychological thriller The Violent Kind.
