James Arnold Taylor

Biography: James Arnold Taylor was born and raised in Santa Barbara, California and began his career at the age of 16 as a stand-up comic. A year later he became a disc jockey at the town's most popular rock station KTYD-FM. Since then James hasn't stopped working and wouldn't have it any other way. His voice, along with his many original characters and impressions, can be heard all over the country on a daily basis on radio, television, video games, telephone services, even at amusement parks. James has produced in excess of 7000 comedy bits for the Premiere Radio Networks' syndicated comedy services, which play on morning show radio. He has also voiced promos for Fox, ABC, CBS, and NBC; voice-doubled for stars such as Michael J. Fox, John Ratzenberger, Dick Van Dyke, and Nicolas Cage; been the announcer of major campaigns for McDonalds, Disney, Progressive Auto Insurance, and the national phone service AOL MovieFone; and starred in feature animated films and television shows for Disney, Nickelodeon, Warner Bros., and more. Over the last few years, James has found great success in voicing video games. He has done numerous titles such as Monsters, Inc., Buzz Lightyear, Lilo & Stitch, Lord of the Rings, and held the lead role in the widely popular Final Fantasy X. James runs his own production company/recording studio out of his home in the Los Angeles area with his wife/manager, Allison Taylor. In addition, he co-wrote, produced, and starred in an independent feature based on his stand-up comedy act entitled The Comedy Team of Pete and James.
