For the role, Kate had to learn how to surf which she found a lot of fun, and didn't think twice about jumping on a board and heading into the surf. Kate is proud to be cast in an Australian TV series and loves playing the role of Bec Sanderson.

Along with being a great actress, Kate is also very musical. She loves to play the guitar and has an amazing singing voice. She has had vocal training from a young age and has studied opera as part of her Bachelor of Creative Arts. She has also expanded her music theatre repertoire including coaching with Peter Cousens.
