As most of her fellow Canadian actors do, Carro also appeared in Vancouver-filmed TV series like Smallville and The L Word. In 2005, she had a minor part in Two For the Money, which starred Al Pacino and Matthew McConaughey. The following year, she got a more major role as an antagonist in Dr. Dolittle 3. She also portrayed the recurring role of Stephanie Meyer, Ephram Brown's love interest, during the last season of the CW small-town drama Everwood.
