Biography: Considered by some as a young Johnny Depp, American actor Luke Grimes has slowly made his stride in film and television. From when he started to appear on screen in 2006 up until 2009, Grimes has racked up four films and a major TV network series recurring role to his growing credits.

The youngest among four siblings, Luke was born in Dayton, Ohio, and had a very religious upbringing. His family was very supportive of his dream to become an actor, a dream which began at the age of six. After high school, Luke's mother took out a mortgage on the house when he told them about his desire to attend drama school. After studying at New York's American Academy of Dramatic Arts and a brief job pouring concrete back in Ohio to earn some cash, Luke moved to Los Angeles to pursue his acting career. Since 2006, a year after he settled in Hollywood, Luke booked various film projects such as All the Boys Love Mandy Lane, War Eagle, Arkansas, and Assassination of a High School

In 2008, Luke beat out Scott Porter (Friday Night Lights) and Jason Ritter (Joan of Arcadia) among others for the role of Ryan Lafferty, the illegitimate son of William Walker, on the hit ABC family drama Brothers And Sisters.
