Steve Carell

Biography: He was a correspondent on The Daily Show for several years, and also appeared in recurring sketches like "Even Stephven [sic]" (with Stephen Colbert) and "Produce Pete." In 2005, Carell played the lead role in NBC's remake of the British sitcom The Office, for which he subsequently won a Golden Globe in 2006 ("Best Performance by an Actor In A Television Series - Musical Or Comedy"). He played the lead role in the 2005 film The 40-Year-Old Virgin, which he developed and co-wrote. Carell also appeared in a short cameo alongside Nicole Kidman and Will Ferrell in the 2005 remake of Bewitched. He is currently scheduled to play Maxwell Smart in a movie remake of Get Smart.
