This free retro-inspired offering will bring a smirk to the face of anybody who grew up on the 8 and 16-bit eras. Just make sure you're ready for the grind.

Playing it safe, Skiing Fred doesn't veer away from the typical Endless Runner path, but there is some fun to be had.

Mino Monsters 2: Evolution looks wonderful, and is a solid monster collector brought down by the endless pitches for in-app purchases.

This role-playing game boils out all of the exploration in favor of offering an ultra streamlined rpg combat experience.

Glo Flo is extremely simple in its execution as well as its appearance but underneath that simplicity is, well, more simplicity.

Simple yet fun, it's frustrating that That Monsters Game is quite restrictive for those not willing to pay up.

Implode 3D is only really let down by its inability to change. It is roughly the same game throughout the entire 80 levels.

The levels that are included do offer up enough of a challenge to provide a good chunk of gameplay – it's certainly not the case that they'll be blitzed through in one sitting. Which leaves us with a title that, while not perfect, is certainly worth a little look. Let's just hope the new levels aren't too far away from appearing.

Offering a fairly entertaining adaptation of the popular game of Skee Ball, it's a shame this game's quite cluttered with money making opportunities.

It won't convert naysayers across as there's no more to it than simply matching the relevant icons, but it makes for an entertaining enough way of passing a few hours.

The trance music and neon graphics are serviceable but what really matters are the mechanics which are neither amazing nor awful. Apart from it's 3D twist, HypnoBlocks is as straightforward as puzzle games get.

Thankfully, having long ago lost my need for perfection, I was able to continue ever onward and enjoy the zany story for what it was, moving from colons to brains and many organs between. There is quite a bit to enjoy about Tentacles: Enter the Dolphin, and it has high production values. Just be prepared for some level of frustration.

While I think the concept is not as perfectly-executed as I think it could be, Blast Soccer is definitely an interesting take on its sub-genre: and hey, a game that's interesting but far from perfect is better than a game that's mechanically sound but uninteresting.

This is definitely the game for hard-core and devoted Wheel of Fortune fans. It has a lot of extra features that will probably be more than the average person would want, like themes for different eras of the show. However, the pass and play option is a really nice touch and Wheel of Fortune is the perfect game for playing with friends on a single device.
